UPSC Exam 2021 Admit Card Released  

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today released the admit cards for the Engineering Services  Examination (ESE) 2021on the official website. Candidates who have applied for the UPSC ESE Prelims exam 2021 can download the admit card from the official website.  The admit cards are available for download from June 24 to July 18. Candidates will require their login credentials which is Registration ID, Roll Number, and Date of birth. 

As per the official notification, the examinations are to be conducted on July 18. All the candidates are expected to follow the instructions that are mentioned on the UPSC ESE admit card and also adhere to the COVID 19 guidelines. The candidate needs to carry an e-Admit card (print out), along with the (original) photo identity card to the examination hall. The exam will be held in two shifts, the first from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The General Studies and Engineering Aptitude paper will be conducted in the morning shift (from 10 am to 12 pm) and the discipline-specific civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics and telecom engineering papers will be conducted in the afternoon shift (from 2 pm to 5 pm).

How to download the UPSC ESE admit card 2021

  • Visit the official website at https://upsconline.nic.in/eadmitcard/admitcard_ese_2021/
  • Read the Instructions carefully and click on “Yes”.
  • Enter login credentials such as  Registration number/ Roll Number, Date of birth, and Captcha in the provided field.
  • Click on the “Submit” button.
  • The admit card will appear on the screen. 
  • Download and take a printout of the same to carry it to the exam centre.

The recruitment for UPSC IES will be conducted in three stages which are preliminary examination, main examination and personality test. First candidates have to qualify preliminary examination by achieving the minimum qualifying marks as determined by the Commission. The qualified candidates will be eligible for admission to the main examination. Candidates who qualify for the main examinations will be eligible to appear for the personality test, which carries a weightage of 200 marks.
