Common Management Admission Test is a national level entrance examination which is organized by All India Council for Technical Education. It is an online computer based examination. Every year a large number of candidates can apply for this examination. This test is held for the candidates who are interested in management courses which are offered by the various management colleges in India. Important Dates-
Important Dates
- Online application were released on 10th October, 2016
- Last date for the submission of the online application form was 25th December, 2016
- Admit card will be made available on 16th January, 2017
- Exams will be conducted on 28th and 29th January, 2017
- Answer key will release one or two weeks later once the examination is conducted
- Result will be declared on 10th February, 2017
Eligibility Criteria-
- The candidate is required to the citizen of India
- Minimum qualification which is required to appear for the test is graduation. The candidates who have completed their graduation in any stream like science, commerce and arts can apply for this exam
- The candidates who are in the final year of the graduation can also apply for the entrance exam
Admit Card-
The candidates will get the admit card for the entrance examination through the official website of exam conducting authority. The candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card. The admit card will be made available from 16th January, 2017
Registration-
The registration has already been started from 10th October, 2016
Registration was invited through online process only
Candidates who all have made the payment can submit the application form by 28th December, 2016
Candidates are suggested to fill the form correctly and completely
Candidates are also suggested to take the printout of the application form for the security purpose
Registration Fee-
The registration fee for the general and OBC candidates is Rs.1400 and for the reserved categories it is Rs.700
The candidates can make the payment through the online payment mode by using the debit card or credit card or net banking. The candidates can make the payment of the fee through Cash Payment in State Bank of India
Exam Pattern-
The questions will be objective type of questions
The duration of the exam will be 3 hours
Question paper will comprise of 100 questions
There will be 4 sections in the entrance exam
Each section will contain 25 questions each
Each question will carry 4 marks
There will be negative marking. For every incorrect answer one mark will be deducted

Syllabus-
The questions in the entrance exam will comprise mainly from the four subjects which are quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehensions and general awareness
Result-
Result of the entrance exam will be declared on the official website. The result will be declared on 10th February, 2017. No separate result will be sent to candidates, they have to download it from official website.
