The match’s turning point came right at the start of the 15th over when Jasprit Bumrah (3-14) bowled Mohammad Rizwan (31 off 44) with a well-directed delivery that hit the stumps. Rizwan’s aggressive shot attempt cost him dearly. Axar Patel had an exceptional 16th over, giving away only two runs. The umpire initially gave Wasim out caught behind as the batters attempted a quick single, leading to some confusion. Despite Wasim opting for a review, Ultra Edge displayed a clear spike, confirming his dismissal. Pakistan could only score 11 runs in the last over, resulting in another defeat for them.

In the earlier stages, Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam  was caught at slip off a delivery from Bumrah that nipped back in sharply.
