Ooty also is known as Udhagamandalam is referred often by many as Queen of Hill Stations. Ooty is a beautiful hill station which from Connor is at the distance of 18 km, from Coimbatore at 89 km, from Mysore at 128 km, from Bangalore at 265 km, from Kozhikode at 158 km, from Munnar at 244 km, and from Chennai at 556 km. Ooty is capital of the Nilgiris district present in TamilNadu state. Nilgiris generally means the Blue Mountains.
