Steps

  1. Get your qualifications and work & language skills assessed by the germane assessing authorities. This is, perhaps, the most important step in the chain of steps. For you education, get an educational credential assessment (ECA) from any of the recognized assessing organizations, including, but not restricted to, the International Credential Assessment Service of Canada or the World Education Services. For the English language proficiency test, you have these two authorized test providers, namely, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP).
  2. Create your profile on the basis of certain pre-decided factors, including your age, education, work experience, and language skills, among others.
  3. If the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) gives you at least 67 points, your profile will be allowed to make its way to the Express Entry Bank for review.
  4. Then the IRCC will evaluate it using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Calculator, and give it points on the basis of some core and additional factors.
  5. If you manage to get high CRS score at least 470 points the IRCC, through one of its draws, will issue you an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
  6. Apply with the relevant supporting documents.
  7. Get your health and character reviewed.
  8. Face interview if it’s required.
  9. Pay the PR fees.
  10. Get your PR Visa.
